Refund Policy
All sales are final. Oceandev does not offer refunds on services or digital products.
Services & Projects
All fees, deposits, and retainers paid for design, development, or related services are non-refundable once a project has commenced. A project is considered commenced upon signing of a proposal, statement of work (SOW), or contract, or upon any work, planning, or resource allocation beginning on Oceandev's end, whichever occurs first.
Deposits and retainers are payment for time, resources, and capacity reserved on your behalf, and are earned upon receipt regardless of project outcome or whether the engagement is later cancelled.
Cancellations
If a client wishes to cancel a project in progress, any fees already paid for work completed or in progress are non-refundable. Cancellation terms, kill fees, and any remaining obligations are governed by the applicable signed agreement or statement of work, which takes precedence over this policy in the event of a conflict.
Why We Don't Offer Refunds
Our work involves real time, labor, and resources committed from the moment a project begins or a purchase is made. Because of the custom and immediate nature of our services and digital goods, we're unable to offer refunds once work has started or a product has been delivered.
Before You Buy or Get Started
We encourage you to review project scopes, deliverables, timelines, contracts, and pricing carefully before signing on or making a purchase. If you have questions about what's included, reach out to us beforehand so we can make sure everything is clear before any payment is made.
Exceptions
We will consider a refund only in the following limited circumstances:
- You were charged in error or charged more than once for the same purchase or invoice.
- A technical error on our end prevented delivery of a purchased digital product and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
- Oceandev fails to begin any work on a contracted project after a deposit has been paid, and no resources, planning, or communication toward the project has occurred.
Requests under these exceptions must be submitted in writing to support@oceandev.net within 7 days of the transaction. All exception requests are reviewed at Oceandev's sole discretion, and approval of one request does not obligate approval of any future request.
Templates
This refund policy applies to all Oceandev Framer templates (including but not limited to Clout, Amplify, and Orbis AI). Templates are digital products delivered instantly upon purchase, so all template sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by the marketplace through which the template was purchased (e.g. non-delivery due to a platform error).
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue is a breach of this policy and any applicable agreement. Oceandev reserves the right to dispute chargebacks with supporting documentation, including signed agreements, project communications, and proof of delivery.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases and engagements made after the updated policy is posted. The version in effect at the time of your purchase or agreement governs that transaction.
